Bookplates!

In the last few months, I’ve gotten a ton of requests for bookplates for The Violets of March, so I had to figure out, a.) what is a book plate?, and b.) where does a new author find said bookplates, and c.) what does one write on a bookplate? (Hey, I’m new at this author thing still!) I figured it all out (thanks to veteran authors who filled me in), and I’m happy to report that I have an enormous stack of envelopes to go out to readers this week!

For those of you who are new to bookplates, they are simply a sticker that is affixed to the inside cover of a book that the author signs for you. It’s sort of like having the author sign your copy of the book when the two of you can’t meet in person. Fun, huh?

If you’d like one too, just email me your mailing address! I’m happy to send.

I Loved “Violets of March” and had to share it with my Mother who is 88 years old.
She is an avid reader and is near to finishing it. I will share with my sister also.

Can’t wait for “The Bungalow”. (Hurry, hurry, hurry!)
I also ordered “Years of Grace”, which is referenced in your book.
Thank you and please keep writing. Also wishing you continued success.

What a cool idea! Are you doing any Seattle events (or am I late to the game on that one!)
