This week, a lovely artist and blogger named Patricia van Essche asked me if she could share Blackberry Winter with her fans and make a painting of my home. I was so honored! Here is the gorgeous result of her creativity! I love how she added some pumpkins to the stairway for autumn (my favorite season!).

I am visually impaired and ready my books on a player from Books for the Blind. They unfortunately don’t have your books yet. A friend said Black Winter may be the best book she has ever read. I can’t wit until MAYBE they get one of your books. Sincerely, Betty Hopper
