To Turkey, With Love
My friend Charles snapped this photo of the boys and me at Pike Place Market yesterday under the Turkish Delight sign. I have two books on the bestseller list in Turkey, and hear from Turkish readers every day. I’m so very grateful for the book love from this lovely country, and I cannot wait to travel to Istanbul from November 9-16 to meet my readers and tell them thank you in person!

I was one of those people who drove 100+ miles (from Yakima) to have my book signed! It was a perfect way to spend a beautiful day in Seattle – getting to meet my favorite author. Sarah – you are as gracious and delightful in person, as you are (and your characters are) in your books! Keep writing! Have fun in Turkey and in the rest of your travels! ~ Charlene

Sarah, How exciting to see that you have a new book out! I just now finished reading The Violets of March. I loved it along with Blackberry Winter and The Last Camellia. I have The Bungalow checked out of the library to read next. I love your writing style. I stumbled across Blackberry Winter at the library this winter and was intrigued by the title and the cover. I am hooked :). Maybe some time you will make it to Traverse City, MI for The Writers Series. I will certainly come and hear you if that ever happens. Happy summer to you and your family. Karen
